FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: 3/29/2016
COLLEGE STATION, March 29, 2016 — The Mugdown, Texas A&M’s satirical newspaper, is proud to present Corps of Cadets: The Musical on May 1 in Rudder Auditorium. The original, first-run musical will feature musical talent, choreography, and acting from the student body and Corps of Cadets. Proceeds from ticket sales and merchandise will be donated to The Lone Survivor Foundation and Aggie Rings for Veterans.
The Corps-themed musical is a great opportunity to bring the community onto campus, enjoy the arts, and support our veterans. The entire production, from writing, directing, producing, acting, and choreography is run by students.
Tickets are on sale now for $7-$10 at the MSC Box Office. Tickets can be purchased on the MSC Box Office website or by contacting the MSC Box Office at (979) 845-1234.
The performance on Sunday, May 1 will have two shows at 2:00pm and 7:00pm, respectively. The show is family-friendly and includes great songs, fun antics, and even romance! The show does not require Corps knowledge and is sure to bring out laughter from students, families, the B/CS community, and lovers of theater.
The Mugdown asks for your help in supporting the local arts and bringing financial assistance to our veterans.
